Were very good and.cooperative the allowed us.to.sit in their lecture and.shadow them they also gave us the syllabus they helped us with talking the lecture the gave us same subject.but.other.teachers and while.taking lecture they gave their.lecture easily and helped us in controlling class

DeleteI was alloted The Lord's Universal College to do the shadowing as well as to take up 5 lessons of Organisation of Commerce and Management along with Secretarial Practice of Std 11 students.
ReplyDeleteThe teachers were quite supportive and interactive to clarify our doubts and shortcomings in the lessons to be taken by us also they were very helpful in providing us with an opportunity to observe their lectures and learn the way of teaching and handling class.
This helped us a lot in our future lessons take up when we were about to be at the near to same place.
The knowledge gained from them helped me get to know about the students before taking up there lessons.
After this the respective teachers assessed our performance in which they quoted some of very important tips regarding future teaching learning such as to be presentable and confident while delivering your content in front of the students and also be encouraged to take up challenges.As such there were no such rating scales we all were assessed on the basis of our performance and our continuous contribution towards the Institute.
Apart from that some students though mischievous in class were quite respectful outside.
Also we were given an opportunity to be a part of their Independence Day Celebration and also given a chance to putforward our contribution.
In all I can say, taking up teaching as a career was my best decision ever I have taken in my past although which was not in the earlier scenario.

Delete1. I have done my first phase of internship at Universal High School. my subject was english so I have done shadow of english teacher. I had attended five lesson of her class. She used projector while having her lecture and use diffrent activities such as showing video, stories to teach students and she asked questions to assess them. In class she told me how to control class and how to engage them.

ReplyDelete* During the first place of internship, I observed 5 lessons of my shadowing teacher in st. Anne's. She teach economic in standard 9th. The School has a smart board in each class, so teacher use video to explain their content, no use of textbook while explanation. She were very supportive and clear the students doubt. By observing her I learned how to handle the class and how to engage them.
2)I was prepared with my ppt and in the last movement PPT doesn't support. Then I decided to explain the whole contents and activities by using the Chalkboard. The students were also cooperative and understand the situation. The lessons goes very smoothly. It was good experience. I learned to handle the difficult situation.

Delete1. I was allotted Oxford Public school for 1st phase of internship.Because of Udan Skit I was not in the internship for 1st half and finding a shadow teacher became challenge for me but thanks to JAyanti and Dhara I finally found my shadow teacher.
ReplyDeleteHer name was Shaila miss and I believe she is into teaching for quiet a long time.
Her content knowledge was great. but she use to stick to text book while teaching and explaining.
About class command she was friendly I found some student were taking advantage of she not scolding them.
She was very helpful to her students and use to give explanation again if required.
2.As it was 1st day and exams were there in school . I got a floor duty along with others. We have to help students to find there blocks and help teavher in discpling students by making them not roam in corridoors in exxams time. We even helped them in the dispersal of students.
When we went down for canteen in break we saw there were one more canteen which ws not open at that time on which it was written girls canteen. Which was run by girls on certain occasions.
I remember in one of the lesson. I made students play game in my lesson, definitely it was related too the lesson an student enjoyed that activity alot and they thanked me for that which gave me immense pleasure.

Delete1. I was allotted St. Anne’s High School for my 1st phase of internship. My first method pedagogy subject is Mathematics, Hence I observed 5 lesson of my shadow teacher of Mathematics subject in my 1st phase of internship. Every classroom had a smart board in the school hence my shadow teacher used it to teach Mathematics to students. In every period she would begin with a revision session where she would ask questions based on previous day’s lessons. This would help her to understand the learning of students and also help to solve their queries. She had a great content knowledge and would give tips to students to solve the problems in easy manner. I learnt many things from her – how to manage the class and keep them engaging, how to explain problems so that it becomes easy to students to understand.
ReplyDelete2. It was great experience of the internship. I had done a few activities with the students which they enjoyed a lot. There was this very naught class where I was given a proxy period. At the beginning it was difficult the control the class but then when I started with the activity, slowly entire class started participating and enjoyed a lot. It was really a achieving experience for me that day.

DeleteI was alloted Vivek Vidyalaya And Junior College for my 1st Phase of Internship.I was given to teach my 1st pedagogy subject ie.Commerce (which consisted of Accounts,Organisation of Commerce and Secretarial Practice of Grade11.
ReplyDeleteThe teachers there were so coopetative and helpful.They guided me on how to tackle the subject ,doubt solving and classroom management.They were kind enough that they never denied us from shadowing them to their classroom.
The entire internship was a great experience.This was the first time I had to teach and deal with the college students.In the initiwl days I was given proxy periods and that gave me an opportunity to interact with the students.After that when I went for teaching I got a very good response from the students.The mutual respect which we had for each other helped me to create a very positive ambience in the classroom which facilated me to deliver my lessons as planned and effectively.I could maintain a two way communication in the class without hampering the class decorum.I understood how creative methods of teaching helped me to gain the attebtion of the students .Overall it was a great learning experience for me!

DeleteMy first phase of internship was in Vivek vidyalaya and junior college I had to shadow chemistry sir and Mam ,all were super supportive,I had done shadowing and got to learn a lot of things and got an idea about the class experience I was dealing with college students for very first time it was overall a very nice experience
ReplyDeleteThen I was given lessons and I also got some free lectures where in I performed some activities with the students it was fun to conduct such an educational activity. At the beginning my class control was amazing but I had got one remark from my Mam regarding my eye contact which I later on worked upon n then I enjoyed being a teacher
